Kirtan - yogic music and chanting

 —  —

Sri Yantra Yoga Studio, 10 Cherry Ave, Suite 200, Houston, PA 15342

Something different. This beautiful chanting & singing comes from the Bhakti Yoga tradition, the yoga of devotion and love. The energy of the chanting can uplift the spirit, open our hearts, and connect us deeply to the center of our being. Kirtan has been popular in India for 5000 years. Using Sanskrit mantras, kirtan helps quiet the mind and increase our energy flow. It's a wonderful way to joyfully open the heart. Chanting together not only fosters community, but also amplifies positive vibrations. No musical experience is necessary to join in the singing. All are welcome. We'll finish up with a seated meditation. The Beatles traveled all the way to India to experience kirtan, we've got it right here.
