Meditative, energizing, inspiring singing and chanting in the Kirtan yogic tradition. Kirtan has been popular in India for 5000 years. Using Sanskrit mantras, kirtan helps quiet the mind and increase our energy flow. Whether relaxing and peaceful, or energetic and danceable, Kirtan is a wonderful way to joyfully open the heart. The energy of the chanting can uplift the spirit and connect us deeply to the center of our being. Chanting together fosters community & amplifies positive vibrations.

Guitarist/vocalist Patti Spadaro teaches college yoga, meditation and mindfulness courses. Guitarist/singer/drummer Ven Kelly has been leading Kirtan with Patti for 10 years. Drummer/ yoga instructor Robert Barton is a columnist for Drum! Magazine and is the founder of Three Rivers Yoga.

$10 in advance. $15 day of event

2 nights of camping and 3 days of music in a beautiful 172 acre historic park along the Susquehanna River. Friday evening acoustic trio with Mike "Foot" Hoernig, JB (John Bigham) and Patti Spadaro.

No musical experience is necessary to join in the singing. All are welcome. Patti Spadaro joins up with long-time kirtan musician/singer Ven Kelly, and drummer/yogi Robert Barton. Robert Barton is a columnist for Drum! Magazine and is the founder of Three Rivers Yoga.

29th annual Chartiers-Houston Relay For Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Patti Spadaro solo acoustic performance 5:30pm-6:30pm. Back Roads Duo 1:30-2:30pm. Food, fun, games, and music all day long, 10:45am-11pm. FREE, but donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.

Patti & the Mikes all have impressive separate music careers - performing, touring and recording for many years. Joyce & Bill Toms present their 12th Annual Thanksgiving Benefit Show to benefit the Society of St. Vincent DePaul Society on Wednesday, November 22 at 8 pm. The special night of live music features the sounds of Bill Toms & Hard Rain featuring the Soulville Horns, along with guests Marc Reisman and Strong Way Band, and Patti Spadaro plays with Jill Simmons & Friends, plus special guests. The event is over 21 with general admission tickets $15.

Pittsburgh Women of the Blues performs at the Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival. Patti Spadaro, Jill Simmons, Andrea Pearl, Helene Milan, Jeanne Shook, and theCAUSE will play a great big set on Sunday 7/23 at 3pm. Enjoy a fantastic day of music on Sunday, including Jill West, Stevee Wellons, Kenny Neal and more. Kenny Neal won both Contemporary Blues Album of the Year AND Contemporary Blues Male Artist of the Year at the 38th Blues Music Awards held by the Blues Foundation.
This event is produced by Band Together Pittsburgh - a community based non-profit that uses the power of music to engage children on the autism spectrum. Through music we are able to improve social behaviors, increase focus and attention, reduce tension and create body awareness and coordination. The Festival will feature two days of exceptional music, good food and most importantly an inclusive environment that recognizes, respects and celebrates the lives of differently abled individuals and their families. We are exited to be working in partnership with the Autism Society of Pittsburgh. The goal of the Autism Society of Pittsburgh is to help parents and professionals grow by providing as much relevant information on autism spectrum disorders as is known to us.
